*chortles* This reminds me of something my coworker said yesterday. I was bitching about how my neighbor won't move her car out of my parking space, and he said you can get anything done if you add the phrase "or I'll burn this place down." And don't actually look AT the person you're saying it to, just walk by looking at the ground and mutter, "Move your fucking car or I'll douse this place in kerosene and burn it down."
*Notes: Must threaten to put fire to people in order to get what I want.*

I had to speak French with Walloon-speaking Belgians a couple of days ago at work, it was highly entertaining and involved a lot of made up sign language as I don't really speak French at all (I can understand quite a bit though). Did manage to explain that I'd ran out of Euro coins, and did they by any chance have foud euros so I could give them back a fiver..
